Enid is a highly qualified professional who holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Western Michigan University. With over two decades of experience in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), she has taken advantage of numerous career opportunities that have established her as a leader, coach, therapist, and advocate.
She primarily focuses on advocating for individuals with IDD, which she achieves by interacting with them, actively listening to them, and respecting their rights and decisions. She has served as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) for five years, demonstrating her commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Prior to her current role, Enid worked for six years as a therapist in the community mental health system, where she excelled in facilitating individual, family, and group therapy. This experience had a major positive impact on her advocacy for people with developmental disabilities, inspiring her passion to start Loving Hands LLC.
Enid currently works as a Behavior Consultant, a position she has held for five years. Her extensive experience, combined with her genuine interest in advocating for people with special needs, makes her an exceptional professional in her field.
Aside from her professional achievements, Enid has personal interests in sports, traveling, and advocating for people with special needs.
